Here are two more ways to have the Lord help you get through financial worries…

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

God also helps during financial struggles by walking with you. He never leaves you – not even when the storms of life seem never to end. He is testing you to grow your faith. It is like He is asking, ‘Do you trust me enough to take the next step because I say it’s safe even though you can’t see it?’ When the next step is scary, or the options all seem bad, remember that He is taking it with you, and rest in His love.

“So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.” Psalm 90:12

While you may not feel the benefit of this aspect of God’s help in financial struggles, it will help you think like Christ for the rest of your Christian life. Sometimes the Lord removes the earthly things we are resting in for security to show us how fleeting the things of earth really are. Financial struggles pull back the curtain on vanity (emptiness) of this life. He wants you to see the temporal nature of this world so that you will focus on the next and have eternal rewards.
