Here are the final 2 ways you can find happiness through Christianity!
#2 Follow Christ’s Example
“If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him. If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.” John 13:14-17

Following Christ’s example of humble service will bring you happiness as a Christian. The world tells you that fame, greatness, and wealth will bring you happiness. It advises you that the only way to win these prizes is to put down the people around you and seek to be served. But Jesus calls us to an opposite course. He shows us that the servant is the one who is happy. The humble one is blessed. Do you want to be truly happy? Forsake the world’s wisdom and follow Christ’s example. Be happy – serve.
#1 Endure Trial
“But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; … If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.” 1 Peter 3:14; 4:14

God seems to think we might struggle with this one, so He repeats Himself. The path of happiness is the path of suffering. It is a path of trials and persecution. How, you ask, does suffering bring happiness? God’s ways are so wonderful that He has arranged that the trials we will face will bring us happiness as Christians because He will reveal Himself to us powerfully through them. As we suffer we will renounce the world and lay up treasure in heaven.
So, if you seek happiness as a Christian today, embrace the trials God has put in your path and rejoice that God is working things out for your greatest good and His greatest glory.
