| Jesus’ answer to Paul’s question in the first part of chapter 12 is actually the whole theme of the book of 2 Corinthians. The letter, as with much of Paul’s writing, is about God’s gracious favor towards us. It would seem that Paul’s request wasn’t granted and yet Jesus assured Paul that he would continue to work through Him. Where do you need Jesus to work through you today? Where do you need an extra touch of God’s gracious favor? Let us boldly approach the throne and ask of him - knowing that even God will continue to strengthen and work through us even when it looks different to how we want it. |

| Father of Grace - I thank you for your grace and your mercy at work in my life. I thank you that through your Spirit, you strengthen me daily. I ask Jesus, that you would continue to work through me as I bless those around me. Lead me in ways of peace today and may I be string in you and you alone. For you glory Jesus. Amen |
