| This is one of the most quoted scriptures in the world and one that brings much comfort to many, as I hope it does to you today. Here, the people of Israel are in captivity and don’t know how to get out. God tells them that He alone knows, not the false prophets who ‘think they know.’ He has plans of peace and salvation. We know the story of the return from exile and I hope you can see that this verse finds its completion in Christ Jesus. He is the ultimate thought of peace and gives us our expected end of spending eternity in His freedom. |

| Father, thank you that you have plans for us to walk in. You have given us your peace through the gift of grace. I thank you today for my salvation. I thank you that Christ thought of me as he faced the cross. I thank you that His blood has brought me peace. May I lead others to find this truth today. In Jesus’ name. Amen |
