| Chapter 5 of Romans is an explanation of the blessings of our justification by faith. Here Paul expands on the gift of the Holy Spirit to the church and every believer at Pentecost. What a blessing that is! Paul explains that we can have hope, a hope that will never put us to shame because God has shed abroad (or poured out beyond measure) His love in our hearts. This comes in the very tangible presence of the Holy Ghost. Today you are loved from heaven - beyond measure. Today, God smiles and dances over you. He loves you with an everlasting love and the Holy Ghost makes those truths real to us. |

| Father, thank you for your love and grace. Holy Spirit, I ask that you would make this love real to me in this moment. I need a fresh touch of your presence today. Be with me and lead me in all truth today. For Jesus’ glory I ask. Amen |
