| I love this verse at the beginning of Psalm 3, it has helped and sustained me in many days of my life. I love the invitation to cry out to the Lord with our voices and the solid truth that God hears us. There is then a short pause -- Selah. I like to do this as part of my prayer rhythm. I pray/cry out to God then I pause and wait for Him to respond. How often do we present our requests and yet forget to wait for a response. I know I can do it all too frequently. May this be a gentle encouragement for you to wait and pause for God to respond to you. |

 |
| Father, today I will cry out to you over many people and situations. I thank you for the truth that you hear us. Nothing can separate me from the love of God. Today as I pray for situations, would you remind me, Holy Spirit, to pause and wait for you to respond. I love that you are a God who longs for relationships. Jesus, would I deepen my relationship with you today. Amen |
