| We know that the mustard seed is not the smallest seed in the world, but Jesus uses it here as an illustration because everyone would have known what they were and what they grew to be. I love Jesus’ way of teaching us - using what we know to expand our faith. Have you noticed that in your own walk? Jesus goes on to show how the kingdom of God starts small and continues to grow into a place where people can gather and find shelter. We are called to bring God’s kingdom to earth, to see those who need safety find it. As our kingdom communities grow, there will be safe places for people to find God. |

| Today's Prayer |
 |
| Father, I thank you for [my church community]; I thank you for its leaders. I thank you that we are a place where you reign on earth as you do in heaven. Guide us as a community so that we may be a safe place for us all to find shelter in your presence. May [church community] be a place of welcome, grace and challenge so that we grow and become more of your kingdom on Earth. In Jesus’ name I ask. Amen |
