| We are new creations; we are part of the second Adam and have died to our old selves. All this can be very easy to agree with and another thing to live out; have you noticed that? Yet scripture calls us to live differently. Paul presents his reason here. We have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer us that lives. The truth is Christ now lives in us and we live from this position. Our old selfish ways have died and we no longer live them - we choose Jesus’ ways. What are His ways, though? Paul concludes this verse by saying that we are to live by Faith, to love others and give ourselves for each other. This is how Christ lived, and now he calls us to do the same. |

| Jesus, I thank you for my salvation. I thank you that my old self died at Calvary and I am free. I submit myself to your Lordship again today. I ask that you would increase my faith. May I love you and others today. May I serve and bless all I meet today. May I know you more today. Come Holy Spirit, Amen |
