Today's Bible Study
I love this verse in the heart of Paul’s letter to the Romans. The Roman church was a mix of Gentile and Jew, and Paul was writing with the express purpose to unite that church. He knew that the church would face opposition in and out of the congregation. He wanted them to see the bigger picture, namely that both cultures were loved by God. There’s no better way to show and say that than by showing them Jesus. How much is God for us? So much that He did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all. You might be facing all sorts of troubles an trails, but hear the good news of Jesus that God is so much ‘for you’ that He gave His only son for you. Know you are loved and blessed today. Enjoy your day.
Today's Prayer
Father God, I thank you for your love and grace. I thank you that I am chosen in you. I thank you that you are for me and not against me. You have given so much to me. Thank you for the precious blood of Jesus and the saving work of the cross. Jesus, would you be glorified in my life as I live out this truth today. I thank you that you are for me and not against me, and this is demonstrated fully in Jesus. Amen
