| Salvation is something only God can do; it is his powerful, creative work in us. We are recreated into new people -- and as new people, we form a new creation - the church. It is only God who can create. As he created the universe from nothing, so he creates new life from dead, sinful creatures. We are recreated in Christ not just to be saved, but to also bless and walk in the good works that he has created and planned for us. The new life that God gives us cannot help but be expressed in actions of love and grace. So, as you inhabit the new life that God gives you, you will naturally bless those around you today. Today is a good day; walk in the goodness that God has for you today. |

| Jesus, I thank you that I am a new creation in you. I thank you that I have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of light. I am God’s workmanship. I have been created in Christ Jesus to do the good works you have set before me. Holy Spirit, guide me in your ways today. May I see what you show me and follow your prompting today. For Jesus’ glory, Amen |
