| Every one of us has a gift. In fact every one of us many gifts. Paul’s letters to the church in Corinth, Rome and Ephesus give us a variety of lists of the types of gifts that God gives us. They are all different lists, but by no means exhaustive of the gifts that God can and does give His children. Peter in his letter is saying to us that we are to use these gifts to bless and build up the body of Christ. We are to minister to each other with the gifts given to us in in the manner they are to be used - to bless each other. So, my question to you today is -- how are you using the gifts God has given you to bless your church community? How can you continue to grow in these gifts so that your church family is encouraged? Pray into these areas today. |

| Lord God, I thank you for the gifts you have given me. I thank you specifically for [name a gift]. I ask that you would show me ways that I can bless others through the use of this gift. May I encourage those around me today. May I edify and support those around me. Show me how I can grow in this gift and use it for your glory. Amen |
