| Sleep is a mysterious thing isn’t it? Some days it seems very easy to obtain and other days it seems so elusive you wonder if you will ever sleep again. Many things disturb our sleep patterns, some through our own poor discipline and others through no fault of our own. It is my belief though that God wants to give us great sleep. We are to live in the goodness of this verse. We are to be laid down in peace and sleep because our God makes us safe. We are saved in His grace and He has plans for us to walk in it. He is for us and not against us. This should give us confidence today and allow us to rest in his peace. May you have a great night’s sleep tonight and may it be the start of amazing sleep patterns for years to come. |

| Father, I confess that I often get worried, fearful and scared. I confess that often this is rooted in a lack of trust in you and your ways. Help me to see like you do. Help me to trust in your readiness and mercy. I ask for supernatural sleep that will refresh me and enable me to live for your glory tomorrow. May all my hours give you glory, be they awake or in sleep. Amen |
