| I often feel sorry for Micah. He is asked to write a whole book and usually the only part most Christians know is Chapter 6 v 8 and the call to live a godly life. Alongside that amazing verse, however, the book of Micah contains a wealth of goodness and hope. This verse is one of those moments to treasure. Here we see a statement that we can use in our own lives. No matter what we are going through or facing -- we can look unto the Lord, we can wait for Him and we can believe, because Jesus our God will hear us and even take action. As you come to God in worship today with requests or just to rest in His goodness, be encouraged by this verse and by Micah’s story. |

| Father God, I thank you for the promises found in this verse. I thank you that in each and every moment I look to Jesus, I know He is my salvation and I know that he hears me. What a privilege to come to you in prayer and know that the king of creation hears me. I have many concerns today [list some concerns]. Jesus, I ask you to hear me and act. Show me your ways and your wisdom. Amen |
