| Sometimes I just love how Paul goes straight to the point and gives us really clear messages through his writing. Today’s verse is a great example of that. It’s a really simple verse that I would encourage you to memorize. It actually takes a short while to explain, but it’s full of such theological depth that we could measure the extent of it for many hours and continue to be excited by it. Here, Paul is simply saying that because of one man’s folly we are all in trouble. In so much trouble, in fact, that we will all die. However, because of one man’s obedience and ultimate resurrection -- we can receive new life. Because of Jesus you can know life today and in the age to come. Let that be the start of your worship today. |
