| Three great words that we need in our lives today – mercy, peace and love. Mercy carries with it the Old Testament picture of God’s loving kindness and compassion. God’s mercy helps us day-by-day. Mercy helps us in our time of need. Peace refers to the peace that Christ made between us and God, through His death and resurrection. Only God can bring lasting peace into our lives. God’s peace helps us day-by-day. Love comes from God, for God himself is love. Believe those who are grounded in this love can bless and bring mercy, peace and love to all they meet. God’s love is our source of life day-by-day. Jude knew that deliverers were facing difficult situations in the world, with persecution, societal pressures and false teachers, so he provided them with three words of encouragement. May these three words encourage you today in whatever you are facing.
