Today's Bible Study |
PHave you ever struggled to
deal with a situation? Have you had a work problem
that you just couldn’t solve? Though you continued
to look for a solution, all you found was darkness.
I have, many times. We spend hours, days, and even
weeks trying to solve our own problems. Taking hold
of this little verse can help us rewire our
thinking.
I believe the Holy Spirit is leading His people to
utter these words over their situations and
problems.
We need to affirm the truth that God alone is our
guide and light, and it is He that will light up
our darkness. We should rely on His promptings in
every part of life.
I encourage you today to pray this verse over the
situations you face and look for signs of grace as
you do.

Today's Prayer |
|
Father, I thank You that You are at work in my
life and in the lives of all Your people. You know my heart and
where You long to see me grow. I ask, Holy Spirit, that You will
guide me today. Help me to be on my guard, to stand firm in my
faith, and to become mature in Christ. I ask for Your glory, Jesus,
and in Your Name. Amen.

Yesterday's Bible
Verse |
"He trusted in the Lord
God of Israel; so that after him was none like
him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that
were before him. For he clave to the Lord, and
departed not from following him, but kept his
commandments, which the Lord commanded Moses.
And the Lord was with him; and he prospered
whithersoever he went forth: and he rebelled
against the king of Assyria, and served him
not." |

James Version (KJV)

Yesterday's Bible
Study |
In this passage of
scripture, we find a description of Hezekiah.
Space or time does not allow us to delve too
deeply into his backstory, but I encourage you
to read about his time as king, as it is a
fascinating story.
I also encourage you today to follow the
principles that Hezekiah followed, even if you
don’t know much about him. That is because
Hezekiah trusted in the Lord God of Israel.
Do you trust in the Lord God of Israel?
Hezekiah followed the Lord and kept His
commandments.
Do you follow the Lord and keep His
commandments?
If you do these things, there is a wonderful
promise that is still true today: The Lord will
go with you and you will prosper. This does not
mean you will have riches beyond anything you
have known before. Yet, if God is with us, we
will prosper. We will find ourselves in
positions of influence. We will offer godly
wisdom and salvation to many.
Today, take comfort in the truth that God is
with you.
