Evening Prayer

Today's Evening Prayer

Dear Lord, I thank you so much for rest. Help me to allow myself to rest so that I can follow the example that you set for us in Genesis. I thank you, Lord, for all of creation—for everything that you made and then sanctified. Help me to remember that as I live out my life, that I also should sanctify my work—my creation—and sanctify it unto you. Help me to remember to rest, Jesus. In your name, amen.
